Good Car

This is a good Car, dependable, a quiet running well handling car. The front seats have a lot of room, I have had a 6 foot 6 -inch 300 pound man in front with not much complaint about space. Back seats fold down and create good cargo space. The four cylinder has no problem getting out in front of traffic and has a punch when you pass at 70. Only issue I have had with the car is transmission shifter locks up and will not go into park, this is an adjustment issue that affects the down hill assist and antilock breaking at the same time. Still a good car. Scale of 1 - 10 I would give it an 8.

I REALLY LIKE MY KIA SORENTO, I JUST WISH THE MECHANICS AT THE DEALERSHIP COULD FIGURE OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT BEFORE I GET TO 100,000 MILES AND THE WARRANTY RUNS OUT.

Description: Kia Motors America (Kia) is recalling certain 2011-2017 Optima, 2012-2017 Sorento and 2011-2018 Sportage vehicles that previously received an engine replacement under recall number 17V-224, warranty, or the Knock Sensor Detection System (KSDS) Product Improvement Campaign. The high pressure fuel pipe that connects to the fuel pump outlet may have been damaged, misaligned or improperly torqued during the engine replacement procedure, possibly causing a fuel leak.
Defect: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action: Kia has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the fuel pipe, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began January 17, 2019. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC172.
