Great Freeway Cruiser

The engine and transmission are superb. The ride is comfortable but not exciting. The seats are very comfortable and the room in the rear is exceptional even for three large people. The instrumentation is instinctual and the optional bench seat in the front is a plus.

Bland boring and dangerous.

Bland, boring and dangerous. Small as the original 1960 Ford Falcon. Rough rough rough riding. Scores of dangerous, and irritating design flaws. Vastly Overrated Brand. Boring color selection. Too small interior space. 5 star crash ratings, but the professional car reviewers don't tell you that is not for the driver side - which is 20% lower safety ratings in crashes (only 4 star).

my 2001 toyota avalon xls was my dream car. my 2008 was a sour lemon.

poor, the computer interfaces and electrical sensors seem to have a mind of their own. even when the Toyota service could see a problem, they couldn't repair it, and recommended I replace a component that was extremely pricey. the body style looks like a Camry twin.
